Pracademic, edutainer, evangelist, sensei, Morpheus, edupreneur.

These are some of the titles my students have given me throughout the years. Regardless of title, though, my job is essentially about helping people burst out of the proverbial box so they can think creatively and lead more meaningful lives.

Born in Mexico City into a Spanish-Mexican family, I grew up in San Diego, attended college in Boston and Barcelona, and earned my MBA at Stanford University, where I was awarded the Social Innovation Fellowship.

I've launched a startup that trains immigrant entrepreneurs in Spain; sold solar lighting solutions in rural India; marketed tires in Mexico's bottom of the economic pyramid; and founded my first company at age 20 on the U.S.-Mexico border.

When not at Pracademy, I serve as Asst. Professor II of Innovation at the Norwegian University of Science & Technology (NTNU) and head Norway's first design thinking executive education program in collaboration with DesignArena, the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), and other universities.

My interests are as diverse as my experiences.
